Summer Missions Team
Pastor Lon and Jenna from Torrance, CA. will be going to Cambodia this summer! They are one of our student' sponsors and have been such a huge encouragement and blessing to BFC. During their time in Cambodia, Pastor Lon will be sharing with pastors and co-pastors and Principal Jenna will be leading professional development for principals and teachers in the Province. Michele Nishioka will be coordinating their time in Cambodia and will be visiting all of the projects and ministry areas and will be joining Lon and Jenna. She is so excited for how God is going to use our first team in Cambodia and is confident that there will be many more teams to follow.
Chhunly Bin will be flying to the United States in August to do some support raising in Washington state and California. Michele and Chhunly are also looking forward to connecting with BFC donors and sharing with them the awesome impact they are making in Cambodia.
Lon and Jenna Murata
“Change Today, Change Forever” is at the heart of Bright Futures Cambodia. We, Lon Murata, and my wife Jenna, are excited to be change makers in the present and to provide hope for the future for the people of Cambodia. This Summer 2023, Jenna and I will spend 16 days in Sisophan, Cambodia as I will be preaching at several churches and ministering to pastors and Jenna will provide extensive training for education administrators and teachers to assist with their public education programs.
We are humbled at this incredible opportunity to serve, and we look forward with great anticipation to seeing how the Lord will use us! With this incredible opportunity to minister, we would love for you to partner with us through your prayers and financial support. -Lon and Jenna

I am so excited to lead a team from Southern California to Cambodia. I know God is going to use our team in a mighty way. to transform minds and hearts. I also can't wait to see how each of our team members' lives will be changed too!
This will be my eighth time going to Cambodia in three years. As the founder of Bright Futures Cambodia, this will be my first time raising financial support for my time there.
🥰🙏🏼I would love your prayers for wisdom and discernment as I lead our team. Also, pray for good health as I am still recovering from a leg injury.

I am super excited to be able to come to Seattle, Washington and Torrance, California, in August, to meet with BFC donors and friends. I will be sharing the impact that people in the United States can have on the lives of students and their families in Cambodia. This includes the individual stories of some future BFC high school students. Their family conditions, hardships, and barriers may prevent many students from completing their education, but can be changed with the help of others.
I will also be meeting with the current BFC board members and presenting the BFC annual report and proposing future projects in 2024.
I can’t wait to share the impact of BFC to make a better future for many lives and families. I am so humbled at this incredible opportunity to share about my people here so that you can know deeply how much your prayers and financial support have impacted my people here in Cambodia. Without your involvement these seeds would not be growing.
