Bright Futures Cambodia started New Hope School in 2021 with about 15 students and one teacher. Today, there are over 100 students, a principal, and five teachers.
New Hope School is in a small school in the Village of Samrong that gives underprivileged students an opportunity to get a free high quality education that makes sure they can pass the grade level exams at the government school.
In two years, we have been able to provide New Hope School with a medical clinic and a computer lab. Students no longer have to meet outside because we were able to provide a ceiling, lighting, and fans.
Through your donation, Bright Futures Cambodia is able to provide for one principal and five teachers. Your generous donation will make it possible to pay for their monthly salaries, classroom supplies, books, and students’ supplies. Also, it will help us be able to maintain our computer lab.
You will be making their dreams come true, which is to teach and serve kids.

This is principal Chenna leading our teachers in a workshop. They spent a few days talking about instruction and observing each other teach and talking about good teaching strategies. At BFC, we believe in helping our teachers have a sustainable income. The old building, the roof was low, and there wasn't enough room for ventilation due to the the heat of the day. Due to the donations Bright Futures Cambodia were able to receive, we were able to create a new roof for the students to go to school.
